Hi, I'm Shane - a friendly chap and web designer/developer who loves problem-solving.
My mission is to spice up design, stray from 'trends' and inject personality into my work wherever possible. Nothing is more unappealing to me than the design 'comfort zone'. Adding to that, I'm a keen communicator, so expect someone who will jump at the opportunity to share his ideas and engage with clients.

I was born and raised in London, went on to study graphic design (BA hons) at the University of Brighton , subsequently moving to Indonesia to embrace a radically different lifestyle and challenge myself - But now, with a fresh perspective, I'm moving back to my homeland, and I'm ready to put down my roots.

jack of all trades
My background is in graphic design, hence I have a good understanding of typography and layout - and I know Photoshop, Illustrator like the back of my hand! I'm an expert in Webflow development and no fool when it comes to Figma either.
I like to think I'm a nice little package and have built a varied skillset, ready to take on any challenge.
cms one-man-army
I've handled a plefora of complex CMS projects, so I'm used to squeezing out CMS's full potential. I started my Webflow journey overlooking the utility of CMS, but once I got a taste, I was hooked! From conditional visibility to multi-reference fields and Finsweet hacks - I make CMS do the heavy lifting and automate as much as possible, so clients can simply upload.
gsap fanatic
GSAP is the gold standard for web animations, but simply throwing in some text-animations isn't enough - GSAP's extensive tool set is rarely utilised.
Take for instance MotionPath and DrawSVG, 2 plugins you will see feature in many of my sites. I'm eager to explore what's possible with GSAP and use it to overcome as many creative problems as possible. Combining this with my own custom graphics, the sky is the limit.

As mentioned, I love nothing more than a problem. I need problems to solve to get out of bed in the morning... the thing that grips me about Web development, especially animation, is the question "How the hell do I do that?" - and then the process of achieving it.
